Oppo Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2 Leaks
Oppo has officially launched the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro smartphones in China. Looking ahead, the brand is set to unveil the Find X8 Ultra in Q1 2025, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. In addition to the X8 Ultra, Oppo is also expected to introduce the Find N5 foldable phone during the same quarter.

Oppo Find N5
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the engineering prototype of the Oppo Find N5 retains a design similar to its predecessor, the Find N3, featuring a large circular camera module on the back. Notably, the screen size of the Find N5 has been increased, although the exact dimensions have not been disclosed. Previous leaks from the same source indicate that the device’s internal display will support a 2K+ resolution, enhancing the visual experience.
Oppo Find N5 specifications
The Oppo Find N5 is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, potentially making it the world’s first foldable phone to feature this chipset. In terms of battery performance, the N5 is expected to see a significant upgrade over its predecessor, which had a 4,805mAh battery. The new model will incorporate a dual-cell battery configuration (2,460mAh + 3,105mAh), offering a rated capacity of 5,565mAh, with the typical capacity estimated around 5,700mAh.
While there is no confirmed information regarding the wired charging capabilities of the Oppo Find N5, it is rumored to support wireless charging. Additionally, Oppo has teased that the N5 will feature magnetic wireless charging, enhancing its convenience and usability.
For photography, the Oppo Find N5 will feature a Hasselblad-optimized triple camera system, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
OnePlus Open 2 Leaks and specifications
One of the standout features of the Find N5 is its slim profile, measuring approximately 9.x mm when folded, according to previous leaks from Digital Chat Station. To achieve this sleek design, Oppo will incorporate a custom-made slim USB-C port.
There is speculation that the Find N5 could be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2 in certain markets, including India, Europe, and the US. However, there are currently no concrete details available regarding its launch timeline.
