Samsung suggests that an optical blood glucose sensor could be closer to reality than we think.

This suggests it could be integrated with existing optical sensors in devices like the Galaxy Watch or even the potential Galaxy Ring. However, initially, the sensor might be too large to fit into anything other than a standalone device.

Current methods are invasive, requiring either a needle to draw blood or the insertion of a special sensor for continuous monitoring.
