Xiomi Pad 7 Pro !!!
Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch its Pad 7 series tablet alongside the Xiaomi 15 series. The new tablet lineup is expected to feature both a standard and a Pro model.
A well-known Weibo tipster, Digital Chat Station (DCS), has leaked the specifications of the high-end tablet today.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro Specifications
According to the leak, the tablet will feature a large 11.16-inch display with a 3.2K resolution, likely around 2880 x 1800 pixels.
The display is reportedly still an LCD, similar to its predecessors, rather than AMOLED as previously rumored. However, it will feature full DC dimming, a technology usually found in high-end OLED displays, which helps reduce flicker and minimize eye strain.
The tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. While it’s not the top-tier SoC from Qualcomm, it is still robust enough for demanding tasks. Additionally, the leak mentions support for 67W fast charging.
The Pad 7 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, potentially accompanied by a secondary depth sensor. While tablets aren’t typically known for their camera performance, a quality main sensor could be beneficial for scanning documents or capturing quick snapshots.
The leak also notes that the Pad 7 Pro will feature an all-metal integrated body and is expected to come pre-installed with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, based on Android 15.
As AI becomes increasingly prevalent in products in 2024, the Pad 7 series is no exception. The leak highlights “AI and deep interconnection” as key features of the Pad 7 Pro.
Additionally, earlier reports indicate that the Pad 7 series will feature a 10,000 mAh battery. The tablets are also expected to include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
While it remains uncertain whether Xiaomi will offer 5G or cellular connectivity, the tablets are expected to support WiFi 7 and feature a USB Type-C 3.2 port for fast data transfers.
